What is a location scout?
We play a vital role in finding suitable locations that fit the aesthetic and logistical feasibility of a certain project.
Some of the other things we do:
Script analysis and creative discussion
Research and outreach
File pulling from my extensive database
Scouting and documentation through photos and videos
Notes on available light, additional support spaces, geography and parking
Negotiations such as financial costs and contracts
coordinating director scouts and tech scouts
I’ve been lucky enough to scout all over the US:
New York, New Jersey, Upstate NY, Connecticut, Boston, Philly, DC, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Las Vegas and Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Los Angeles and Alaska.
